REBELLES

BANDE ANNONCE

November 8, 2019 the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (MMFA) unveiled the Stephan Crétier and Stéphany Maillery Wing for the Arts of One World on the 4th floor of the Jean-Noël Desmarais Pavilion.  Last Wednesday I visited this exquisite site. I felt as though I was traveling through time and space, reliving human evolution through the millenniums in the wing’s 10 fully refurbished galleries.

There is a rapturous exchange between "works of ancient cultures and those by local and international contemporary artists from a renewed intercultural and transhistorical perspective." The result is astonishing as you view treasures like crafted ivory miniatures from Egypt, China, Japan, and India juxtaposed with contemporary expressions of similar concerns. What I saw is both the survival of original archetypes expressed in the historical language of art from many human civilizations, and the similar concerns of modern artists tainted by the relentless erosion of these same archetypes at both the material and spiritual realm. The schism in our psyche and living conditions and the mark it leaves on art is growing day to day as reality confronts all of us with the imminent dangers our lifestyles impose on nature. If ancient humans bowed to the creative forces to sustain life, the humans of our times prefer to deny the existence of this force and buy more cars, use more fossil fuel, destroy our precious forests to make more goods to be consumed.

“For every atom belonging to me as good belongs to you”  is an exhibition of  the remarkable eclectic art collection of businessman art collector W. Bruce C. Bailey.

" One of the things that I find remarkable about the Bruce Bailey collection is its tremendous expanse - with artists as diverse as Marina AbramovićFrancisco de Goya and Albrecht Dürer - which, however,  doubles as great consistency of tone and remarkable depth, " explains Mary ‑ Dailey Desmarais, curator of modern and contemporary international art at the MMFA and curator of the exhibition. " It allows people who watch it to make interesting connections, in time and space. "

I was very surprised by the artists present like a nude of ballet dancer Rudolf Nureyev by Richard Avedon all the way to a lovely Rembrandt print. M. Bailey began collecting art in 1975 at a time when young people were strongly protesting the establishment to create a new world more attuned to what it means to be human for everyone and not just the elite.

Finally the Museum presents another exhibition curated by Mary - Daly Desmarais About Face.

Three major American artists whose practice is focused on the representation of women: Cindy Sherman, Laurie Simmons and Rachel Harrison: are exhibited here. The works are again on display thanks to the Collection of Carol and David Appel underlying the important role of collectors for the survival of art.

Donald Trump's Impeachment & What It Teaches Us About Astrology

Emerge art from 2018 astrological study of Donald Trump
FRANÇAIS app de traduction à gauche

Most human activities have only one objective: securing material resources for survival, comfort and in our times, lifestyle. With this in mind it is easy to observe how even knowledge becomes fodder for power struggles. Scientists are constantly gloating that astrology is a stupid hoax. Some religious folks argue it is against the will of God to study the language of the stars. All I see are people with limited knowledge; regardless of their Nobel Prizes, high social standing or successful experiments and accolades; vying for your resources. However the Trump presidency is an extraordinary opportunity to observe how astrology interacts in complex human affairs.

Donald Trump's solar return chart from astro.com

I would never have thought of following a politician to learn about astrology but Donald Trump is so annoying I had to learn more about his astrological make-up. I realized these 3 brief studies: 1 - 2 - 3 -:  where I calculated the exact day his impeachment trial would begin in the Senate, January 21, 2020. I predicted he would collapse on this day because Saturn in his own sign represents the rule of law winning despite all the shenanigans of the GOP or Trump's celebrity lawyers.

The morning of January 21, 2020 Saturn in house 1 is in exact opposition Trump's natal Saturn. This is a karmic moment where you are judged by laws greater than the laws of men about the integrity of your character. It is fascinating that Trump is a well documented liar surrounded by crooks, liars and traitors who will use lies to defend his presidency but who also stab him in the back. He throws them under the bus, they stab him in the back.

Saturn Opposition Trump's birth Saturn

The added dimension of this karmic moment is the conjunction of Saturn to Pluto and this Pluto is approaching the exact opposition to Trump's Saturn that is exact at the beginning of the January 21 trial. No matter what Trump will show publicly he will feel the crunch of this unbearable weight. My view is that he may be fighting for his very life and not just the presidency. He is after all a human being.

A few hours after the exact opposition of Saturn to his Saturn  his Lunar Return sets the tone for the month ahead. It is not good. The emphasis has now shifted to the 12th house where Saturn the ruler is locked up. The 12th house rules prisons and hospitals. It also gives power to formidable enemies that will undermine him. In his case, the enemies come from many sources not just Congress that impeached him. He will experience betrayal from unexpected sources.

WHAT TO LOOK OUT FOR

How does astrology work? How far does our human will affect the outcome of circumstances?

To the first question, we will see gravity moving to crush Donald Trump through the actions of Saturn conjunct Pluto opposed Trump's Saturn. He will be feeling this extraordinary pressure at many human levels in terms of his physical and emotional state and also in terms of him walking into an arena where HE is being fed to the lions. Trump has a wide network of supporters who will do all they can to assist him through this trial. Some are even going to break the law of the land. It will be fascinating to see who will gravity love?

Traditionally the impact of the alignments of the month would destroy the President regardless of the assistance of others BECAUSE no one can block the oncoming pressure of gravity. So now we are at the second question, how far does our will affect life?

Perhaps Mitch McConnell will impose his will on the entire proceedings and protect his beloved (?) President. His own Saturn is kept stable during the process and supports Trump's own Saturn. But what will be left? Remember, Trump is first of all a human being. How will his health be like after the trial? Who will he trust?

So here we go people! Observe what happens and learn how it works before deciding what you think you know about astrology.

UPDATE: See page 2, what now that Donald Trump has been acquitted.
