The making of THE INFINITE ep. 1

FRANÇAIS app de traduction à gauche

We all grew up devouring science fiction books and movies based in the vastness of space and space travel. Many among us have fantasized about what it would be like to experience space. A few of us became billionaires to experience time in space.

The extraordinary creative enterprise Felix & Paul Studios has been building up for this adventure you are now invited to for years. THE INFINITE is the third instalment, the crown jewel. With co-creators Phoebe Greenberg, founder of Centre Phi and Fondation Phi, and Marie Brassard, designer and screenwriter, you will get as close to going into space as you can without being a billionaire. There is also a world premiere of a work by Ryoji Ikeda entitled The Universe within the Universe created by special order for THE INFINITE.

The making of THE INFINITE ep.2
As you follow the numerous staff that will help you journey into space, you are simulating the walk from the airfield onto the space rocket that will take you to the space station. Every detail has been thought out to enhance your experience. I will however give you a tip: practice walking blindfolded before your visit to the exhibition so you will adjust faster than I did to that awesome jolt of suddenly being afloat in space! I wobbled and lost precious time.

The staff appear like human forms filled with blue stars and a blue sun at the heart center. It is just magical. You move from the darkness of space to spending a moment with real astronauts inside the space station.  These films were shot in the space station in collaboration with NASA

Although your time in space lasts 35 minutes, it passes really fast! You can also share your virtual reality experience with your group of friends. This is THE HIT of the season in Montreal, a not to be missed event that is set to travel the world after November. Once you go through it you will realize how hard it is to put into words and I suspect you will want to repeat the experience!

Bon Voyage!
