The Fantasia Film Festival is still going on in Montreal. To be specific, it will end July 28 2010.
As you can tell by my articles, I love supernatural tales. And although I may cover my eyes while looking at them, I do enjoy a good horror flick once in a while. When I received an e-mail from STEVE VILLENEUVE about his documentary, UNDER THE SCARES, on how to produce a scary movie even on a low budget, I was fascinated. First, I wanted to know why he wanted to do such a movie, then how long did it take. He generously agreed to let me make two short videos, posted below, one in English and one in French, so he could explain himself further. If you ever wanted to make films, I recommend you follow the link on the left.
I hope you read this before Fantasia is over so you can check out more Fantastic movies. If not, put this in your agenda for next year.

Le Festival de Films Fantasia se poursuit à Montréal. Pour être plus précise, il se termine le 28 Juillet 2010. Comme vous avez remarqué par le contenu de mes articles, j'adore les histoires surnaturelles. Et même si je recouvre mes yeux en les regardant, j'apprécie un bon film d'horreur de temps à autre. Quand j'ai reçu un courriel de STEVE VILLENEUVE concernant son documentaire, UNDER THE SCARES, sur comment réaliser un film de ce genre, j'étais fascinée. Premièrement j'étais curieuse de savoir pourquoi il avait voulu faire un tel film, ensuite combien de temps ça lui a pris. Il a généreusement accepté que je fasse deux vidéos, que vous retrouverez plus bas, un en Français, un en Anglais, où il s'explique plus clairement. Si jamais vous avez eu le fantasme de réaliser votre propre film d'horreur, je vous recommande fortement de suivre le lien à gauche.
J'espère que vous lisez ceci avant la fin de Fantasia pour que vous puissiez y découvrir quelques films Fantastiques. Sinon prenez ça en note pour votre agenda de l'année prochaine.
