This summer the discussion is all about our traveling companions, the animals. From the voices of many celebrated artists, we get a glimpse into our complex relationship with this kingdom. The curators for the exhibit are MARIE FRASER and FRANÇOIS LE TOURNEUX. I relished my visit but I was particularly moved by the pieces displayed on top.

On the left, an astonishing work by DAVID ALTMEJD that will leave you breathless. The form of the running zebras is so well executed you may feel like stepping out of their way! I LOVED IT!!!! Center, my discovery this year has been the life and work of AI WEIWEI and here you will see a wonderful piece composed of many golden animal heads. On the right, I LOVED IT SO MUCH!!! a work by MONA HATOUM that you must stand beside to appreciate the simple complexity. You may keep these works forever in the stunning catalog that accompanies the exhibit.

In the context of the BIAN, you can see a remarkable video production by CARSTEN NICOLAI entitled unidisplay. I spent forty minutes in it and I can tell you that if you will allow yourself to go with it, you will experience a moment of ZEN. The strobbing lights reaching infinity in various motifs with rythmic sounds will act on your brainwaves. I found it very relaxing and visually captivating. It will be on display until June 17 2012.

Cet été la discussion tourne autour de nos compagnons de routes, les animaux. De la voix de plusieurs artistes de renommée, nous obtenons un apperçu au coeur de nos relations complexes avec ce royaume. Les commissaires de l'exposition sont MARIE FRASER et FRANÇOIS LE TOURNEUX. J'ai savouré ma visite mais j'ai été particulièrement émue par les pièces que vous voyez dans les photos en-haut.

À gauche, une oeuvre épatante de DAVID ALTMEJD qui va vous couper le souffle. La forme des zèbres à la course est si bien éxécutée que vous serez tenté de vous enlever de leur chemin! J'AI ADORÉ!!!! Au centre, ma découverte cette année a été la vie et l'oeuvre de AI WEIWEI et ici vous trouverez une pièce merveilleuse composée de plusieurs tête d'animaux en or. À droite, J'AI HYPER ADORÉ!!!, l'oeuvre de MONA HATOUM laquelle vous devez vous tenir à côté pour apprécier sa simple complexité. Vous pourrez préserver vos souvenirs de votre visite avec le remarquable catalogue de l'exposition.

Dans le contexte du BIAN, vous pourrez vivre l'impressionnante production vidéo de CARSTEN NICOLAI titrée unidisplay. J'y ai passé quarante minutes et je peux vous dire que si vous vous le permettez, vous connaîtrez un moment de ZEN. Les lumières stroboscopiques qui s'étendent à l'infinie dans des motifs variés ainsi que les sons rythmiques agiront sur les ondes de votre cerveau. J'ai trouvé l'expérience relaxante et visuellement captivante. L'oeuvre est présentée jusqu'au 17 juin 2012.
