Based on the popular book of the same title WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU'RE EXPECTING with a cast of celebrities like CAMERON DIAZ, JENNIFER LOPEZ and CHRIS ROCK to name a few, looks at the experiences of several couples as they bring babies into the world or into their lives.The movie is not as uproariously funny as it is promoted to be but I truly enjoyed many facets of it. I enjoyed the THE DUDES formed by dads who take their children to the park and use that time to express their views about wives and family. I enjoyed the unveiling of pregnancies darker issues and the impact they have on a woman's health and self-image.
The treatment is superficial so the movie retains its lightheartedness.
