A few years ago I had to look at the original release of Star Wars, May 25, 1977. I had been looking at documentaries on special effects and the techniques they used to create the world of Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader are described. I was shocked to discover how little the first movie actually spoke of or described The Force. As you know, The Force is a major character in the movie. The reason this frugality worked was because the late 70s and early 80s were the apogee of the famous writer  Carlos Castaneda, who had revived a passion for secret knowledge not seen in centuries. George Lucas, like many other geniuses of his time, was inspired by the words and concepts proposed in the books: the Warrior's Way, Personal Power, and so on. People understood at a subliminal level what The Force was because they could reference it with what they had just read in Castaneda's books on the subject.

Today I demonstrate The Force with the above sequence of Emerge Art. The three originals were taken within one minute. To illustrate the action of The Force, I filter the images with Forensic Photoshop. This means anyone who challenges the results may obtain an original copy to verify its authenticity. In this study done September 18 2015, I asked water to tell me about the Nagual Don Juan Matus and Carlos Castaneda. There will be in depth discussion about the extraordinary results I got in the upcoming book The Language of Water. Here the focus is how The Force can be seen at work.

Inside the water we can actually see the image of the elegant man; a description once given of Don Juan by Castaneda, ( Tales of Power ); building up and then melting away. The Nagual Don Juan Matus was described as a being who could assume many forms. When you look inside the bowl, you witness many faces that seem to still be moving. I isolated one character so you could see the energy moving through the water with coherent intention, the mysterious force of INTENT! I believe science will one day be able to link the phenomena I call The Language of Water with the statement below.

« Radio waves, gamma-rays, visible light, and all the other parts of the electromagnetic spectrum are electromagnetic radiation. Electromagnetic radiation can be described in terms of a stream of mass-less particles, called photons, each traveling in a wave-like pattern at the speed of light.»

The Theory of Everything and God

In this abstract to an upcoming study, I examine the earliest writings about the beginning of life on earth, the myths that have shaped many civilizations. I compare these with the phenomena I have documented that substantiate the possibility that those myths were based in part by observable phenomena. After this research, I want to verify possible links to what we know about science at this time. 

« We can ask about the nature of God even if there is only one possible unified theory that is just a set of rules and equations. What is it that breathes fire into the equations and makes a universe for them to describe? The usual approach of science of constructing a mathematical model cannot answer the question of why there should be a universe for the model to describe. Why does the uni-verse go to all the bother of existing? Is the unified theory so compelling that it brings about its own existence? Or does it need a creator, and, if so, does He have any effect on the universe other than being responsible for its existence? And who created Him? »

The Theory of Everything: The Origin and Fate of the Universe

Our ancestors had to deal with their perceptions with the understandings that were available to them at the time. However in the book A History of God written by Karen Armstrong I find quotes on certain stories of evolution of life in the universe that make me think that some people saw some of what I saw while others didn't. Could this be one of the reasons our relationship to Spirit became a multitude of belief systems and not a wide range universal knowing?

Basically, what I have documented in the examples shown here, would have fallen under the designation of paganism according to the catholic church. However what I documented are actions of nature that I calculated would occur at certain time + space, it is a study of the equation I propose as the Theory of Everything :  E = MC squared / RF + G = T + S. 

The experiments I did calculated a moment of time ( T ), the time of celestial mechanics, and a point of space ( S ), where I was standing, to verify if gravitational modulations affected matter in a way that could be documented. It did. This also affects life forms and life circumstances.

What is this mystery that came upon me? Water speaks to me in these startling images I call Emerge Art. In June 2014 water expressed itself this way, forging a beautiful crying woman that reminds me of the Virgin Mary. Today, I composed this gif in grief over the relentless and evil slaughter going on in Aleppo. I am appalled by ALL the world leaders who allow these murders to occur!
Know this: As the Spirit sees the victims, It sees each and every one of you also!

• Quel est ce mystère qui est descendu sur moi? L'eau me parle avec ces images spectaculaires que j'appelle Emerge Art. En juin 2014 l'eau s'est exprimée ainsi, forgeant une belle femme qui pleure, qui évoque la Vierge Marie. Aujourd'hui, j'ai composé ce gif contrainte par la peine que je ressens par rapport aux massacres infâmes et sans relâche qui se déroulent à Aleppo. Je suis dégoutée par TOUS les dirigeants du monde qui permettent à ces meurtres d'arriver!

Wim Delvoye @ DHC-Art > 19.03.2017

The latest exhibition @ DHC/ART, WIM DELVOYE, is one about luxurious details twisting around archetypes of ancient cultures and modern practices. For example, the Belgian born artist uses the motif of the crucifixion of Jesus repeatedly in elaborate contorted sculptures of every size. I had to ask him about his intention for using this particular human being, Jesus,  who died a horrific death and about whom we cannot seem to stop arguing; was it art history where he is the most represented person in the world,  or is it a tactic similar to Andy Warhol's use of the Campbell soup can? He laughed at my question but then recounted that he was making a point about social status and how in Europe, in particular where he grew up in Wervik, every family owned a beautiful crucifix. It was at once a common object and a personal luxury in these households.

The themes of the ordinary and the sublime are seen throughout the show in dazzling sculptures like La Pêche Clockwise below. The room is filled with scintillating lights and reflections that make it difficult to seize the details of what you are looking at.

One of the most meaningful pieces is the sculpture Untitled (Maserati). A very recognizable symbol of wealth in the modern world, the luxury car is now a luminous shell with exquisitely carved symbols that represent the Prophet Mohammed's journey to heaven, it is Buraq the heavenly steed that carried the Holy Man to the Masjid Al Aqsa. It is subtle, pure, genius. The entire tale is scripted on the object that, said Wim Delvoye, can also evoke a magic flying carpet.

The exhibition shows the many disciplines the artist explored, from cultivating then tattooing pigs in China, to drawing, to water colors, to etching on luggage. It was a delightful visit as Wim Delvoye is an excellent conversationalist and he told much about his many journeys around the world, his work process, and his current interests. Cheril Sim, the curator of the exhibition, will be giving English guided tours on two separate dates: Saturday January 28 2017 at 2:00 PM / Saturday March 11 2017 at 4:00 PM. La plus récente exposition @ DHC/ART, WIM DELVOYE, en est une de détails luxueux qui se tordent autour d'archétypes de cultures anciennes et de pratiques modernes. Par exemple, l'artiste, natif de la Belgique, reprend le motif de la crucifixion de Jésus répétitivement dans des sculptures élaborées de toutes les dimensions. J'ai dû lui demander quel était son intention d'utiliser cet être humain en particulier, Jésus, qui a souffert une mort horrifique et de qui on semble incapable d'arrêter les arguments: était-ce l'histoire de l'art où il est le personnage le plus représenter au monde, ou plutôt une stratégie similaire à l'usage des cannes de soupe Campbell d'Andy Warhol?  Il a rit quand je lui ai posé la question mais il nous a ensuite raconté qu'il faisait un point sur la question du statut social et comment en Europe, en particulier dans sa ville natale de Wervik, chaque famille possède un beau crucifix. C'est à la fois un objet commun et un luxe personnel dans ces foyers.

Les thèmes de l'ordinaire et du sublime se voient tout au long de l'exposition dand des sculptures éclatantes telle  La Pêche Clockwise ici-bas. L'espace est remplie de lumières scintillantes et de reflets qui rendent difficiles de remarquer les détails de ce que vous regardez.

Une des pièces les plus éloquentes est la sculpture Untitled (Maserati). Un symbole d'opulence très reconnaissable dans le monde moderne, la voiture de luxe est maintenant une carapace lumineuse exquisement gravée de symboles qui représente l'ascension au ciel du Prophète Mohammed. C'est  Buraq  l'étalon céleste qui transporte le Saint Homme au Masjid Al Aqsa. C'est subtile, pure, génial. Le récit entier est écrit sur l'objet qui, dit Wim Delvoye, peut aussi évoquer un tapis volant magique. 

L'exposition montre les multiples disciplines que l'artiste explore, de l'élevage au tatouage de cochons en Chine, au dessin, à l'aquarelle, à la gravure sur des bagages. C'était très agréable de faire la visite avec Wim Delvoye qui est un excellent causeur. Il nous a parlé de ses multiples voyages autour du monde, de son processus de travail, et de ses intérêts courants. Cheril Sim, commissaire de l'exposition, donnera des visites guidées en français à deux dates différentes: Le samedi le 28 janvier à 16h / Le samedi 11 mars à 14h. EMERGE ART • Discover the possibilities!

Here is an example of how I investigate inside the bowl of water to realize an Emerge Art. I filter the original image that is often dark because if you put direct light on water you will only see its reflection inside the water and not the mysterious images it builds up and that pass very quickly.

Once I establish there is an interesting content, I enhance it through filters and very light paintbrush strokes- between 4 to 10% soft light. This allows the original image to remain visible as the content is highlighted and contrasted.

This particular image is special to me because it took me two years to see the image that is so meaningful to me. I recognize the blond girl serving food and drink in the center. That was me when I went to university and worked two jobs to pay for my education. The tiny character on my hip reminds me of how much I loved my "little" sister. You could say we were « attached at the hips.»

Emerge Art is an act of profound participation between a human being and nature. As a human being, I bring together the elements that will create a conversation between water and me. On rare occasions, water reacts to the installation and creates a visual response that I can observe with our new technologies. Emerge Art is also about the process of enhancing an image that could not appear without the intelligence of water. Nature and humanity are a side effect of the abundance of water on our planet associated with it's precise lunar and solar cycles that blend and knead the fabric of life on Earth by filtering gravitational modulations from the solar system and the universe at large.

Water is speaking to us at this time when the stakes for the healthy continuity of both nature and humanity are very grave. It is time to make new decisions and to stop feeding the enormous and ridiculous machines that are built on ego and greed. See how this applies to you because that is where each of us must begin, in our own lives.

This time of year has always been about letting go of our daily struggles, to rejoice in our accomplishments and share them with our loved ones around tables filled with good food. Nature's bounty. No matter what is going on, take a few seconds to contemplate the beautiful portrait water created. It is saying: I hear you, I see you. Be at peace.

Emerge Art est un acte de participation profonde entre un être humain et la nature. En tant qu'être humain, je rassemble les éléments qui vont créer une conversation entre l'eau et moi. En de rares occasions, l'eau réagit aux installations et produit des réponses visuelles que je peux observer avec nos nouvelles technologies. Emerge Art est aussi un processus pour rehausser l'image qui ne peut apparaître sans l'intelligence de l'eau. La nature et l'humanité sont des effets secondaires à l'abondance d'eau sur notre planète, associées à ses cycles lunaires et solaires précis qui mélangent et pétrissent le tissu de la vie sur la Terre, tout en filtrant les modulations gravitationnelles du système solaire et de l'univers en général. 

L'eau nous parle en ce moment où les enjeux pour la saine continuité de la nature et de l'humanité sont très graves. C'est le moment de prendre des nouvelles décisions et de cesser de nourrir les énormes et ridicules machines bâties sur l'ego et l'avidité. Il faut voir où cela s'applique pour vous car c'est le point de départ pour chacun d'entre nous, à l'intérieur de chacune de nos vies.

Ce temps de l'année a toujours été opportun pour lâcher prise dans nos luttes quotidiennes, pour se réjouir de nos achèvements et les partager avec nos proches autour d'une table remplie de bonnes bouffes. L'abondance de la nature. Qu'importe ce qui se passe, prenez quelques secondes pour contempler le beau portrait que l'eau a crée. Il dit: je t'entends, je te vois. Sois en paix.

375 mtl se dévoile

Madame Louise Arbour, au centre, est l'ambassadrice de l'événement. Elle est devenue très émue en parlant de sa passion pour créer un monde meilleur. Elle a dit: " La paix n'est pas une chose stagnante. Il faut travailler la paix." On retrouve dans la photo Madame Nathalie Bondil, Monsieur le Maire de Montréal Denis Coderre,  le commissaire officiel du 375 mtl Monsieur Gilbert Rozon,

La semaine passée j'ai pu assister à deux dévoilements d'expositions hors les murs qui sont soutenus par le Musée des beaux-arts de Montréal ainsi que par le Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal et qui seront présentés lors du 375 ans de Montréal. Notre ville sera féérique!

La Balade pour la paix, un Musée à ciel ouvert, dont vous voyez une esquisse à droite, est une exposition qui sera déployée sur la rue Sherbrooke entre le Musée des beaux-arts et le Musée McCord. Il y aura 29 sculptures ou installations d'artistes canadiens ou internationaux de grande renommée: Magdalena Abakanowicz, César Baldaccini dit César, Romero Betsabée, Jonathan Borofsky, Fernando Botero, Luben Boykov, Alexander Calder, Claude Cormier, Wim Delvoye, Jim Dine, Sorel Etrog, Ivan Eyre, Joe Fafard, Barry Flanagan, Rose-Marie Goulet, Keith Haring, Zhang Huan, Charles Joseph, Yayoi Kusama, Ju Ming, Robert Murray, Dennis Oppenheim, Niki de Saint Phalle, Giuseppe Penone, Michelangolo Pistoletto, Richard Prince, Ugo Rondinone, Wang Shugang et Catherine Sylvain.

Il y aura aussi 40 photographies qui seront disposées sur la rue dont plusieurs proviennent d'artistes québécois tels que Benoit Aquin, Darren Ell, Aydin Matlabi, Jean-François Lemire et Isabelle Hayeur.

C'est le thème de la paix qui est au coeur du message global de cette exposition qui comptera aussi 200 drapeaux du monde entier. Ayant grandi à Montréal, je reconnais l'âme de ma ville dans ce merveilleux projet.

Pendant ce temps-là, un projet financé exclusivement par des fonds privés et qui a profité des experts du Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal va illuminer un autre section de la ville. C'est l'artiste Montréalais Alain Paiement, sous la direction de Sid Lee, et la commandite de la Banque Nationale, qui s'est mérité la tâche prépondérante d'exécuter l'oeuvre monumentale BLEU DE BLEU qui serpentera aux abords de l'autoroute 20, entre le rond-point Dorval et le viaduc de la 1re avenue. Monsieur Paiement était visiblement touché et encore incrédule de l'immensité qu'il est en train de réaliser. Il avoue que le choix du titre: BLEU DE BLEU relève de son amour pour la couleur.

Quel bel été nous attend!

 Virginie Elfira est Victoria Spick, une avocate pénaliste qui vit une crise existentialiste alors que sa vie va prendre une tournure inimaginable. Vincent Lacoste joue le rôle de Samuel Mallet, l' au pair qui abandonne le foyer Spick dans le tourbillon d'événements qui assiège Victoria. Melvil Poupaud joue Vincent Kossarski, un ancien ami de celle-ci qui est accusé d'avoir poignardé sa femme lors d'un mariage auquel elle est présente, qui lui demande de la défendre.

Au coeur de ce chaos on rencontre un dilemme très contemporain pour les femmes: comment vivre la maternité, sa carrière et sa sexualité sans perdre la tête! Les performances sont hautes en couleurs. Il y a drame mais il y a humour et reconnaissance des incongruités de la vie.

Justine Triet a réussi à nous présenter des personnages complexes dans des situations perplexes avec humour et savoir-faire.
