FESTIVALISSIMO is the festival of Ibéro-latino-américan films. This year the 16 th edition will be launched at the Imperial Cinema with the haunting winner of a GOYA for best latino-american film, LA VIDA DE LOS PECES by MATIAS BIZE. It questions the friendships of youth and missed opportunities with poignant surrealist beauty. A retrospective of works by MATIAS BIZE will also offer two of his marking films: UNA PELICULA EN TIEMPO REAL (2003) and EN LA CAMA (2005).

The Latin spirit is one of celebration so a festival celebrating Latin movies needs a fiesta! In this case there will be two different occasions to dance and celebrate. From May 30 to June 2 2011, from noon until 2:00 pm at the Alexis Nihon Plaza you will have a chance to enjoy and practice Latin dance with professionals. This will help you get ready for the big Fiesta Latina that will happen from June 3 to June 5 2011 at the Cabot park outside the Atwater Metro. Not only will the space be decorated to put you in a FESTIVALLISSIMO frame of mind but you will have music, dance, and FOOD! All 100% free! It is a wildly popular event each year.

FESTIVALISSIMO est le festival de films Ibéro-latino-américan. Cette année sera la 16 ième edition. L'inauguration qui aura lieu le 18 Mai au Cinéma Impérial présentera le film envoûtant, gagnant d'un prix GOYA pour meilleur film latino-american , LA VIDA DE LOS PECES par MATIAS BIZE. Ce film questionne les amitiés de la jeunesse et les opportunitées manquées avec une beauté poignante de surréalisme. L'esprit Latin en est un de célébration donc un festival célébrant les films latins à besoin d'une fiesta! Dans ce cas vous aurez deux occasions différentes pour danser et célébrer. Du 30 mai au 2 juin 2011, de midi à 14:00 à la Plaza Alexis Nihon, vous aurez la chance d'apprécier et d'apprendre les danses latines avec des professionnels. Ceci vous préparera pour la grande Fiesta Latina qui aura lieu du 3 juin au 5 juin 2011 au Parc Cabot à côté du Métro Atwater. Non seulement l'espace sera décorée pour vous mettre dans une ambiance FESTIVALLISSIMO mais il y aura de la musique, de la danse et de la BOUFFE! Tout est 100% gratuit! C'est un événement très populaire chaque année.
