The Montreal Botanical Garden has launched the latest edition of GARDENS OF LIGHT. The already magnificent site becomes enchanting as the evening lights go on!
LE MOIS DE LA PHOTO
There are many thrilling exhibits going on for this annual event. Last Friday I went to the CCA for the conference held by DONOVAN WYLIE, the photographer of the haunting The Maze 2009 project and PAUL WOMBELL the curator of this years edition DRONE the automated image. You will have the opportunity to see some images of the destruction of an infamous North Ireland prison where activists were held as criminals.
Also exhibited at the CCA are photos from ILSE BING Social Housing.
Il y a plusieurs expositions exhilarantes pour cet événement annuel. Vendredi dernier, je me suis rendue au CCA pour la conférence donnée par DONOVAN WYLIE, le photographe du projet troublant The Maze 2009, et PAUL WOMBELL le commissaire de l’édition 2013 Drone L’image automatisée. Vous aurez l’opportunité de voir des images de la destruction de l’infâme prison de l’Irlande du Nord où l'on emprisonnait les activistes tels des criminels.

Finally, THE 9TH EDITION OF THE MONTREAL INTERNATIONAL BLACK FILM FESTIVAL. The official opening night is September 18 2013 at the Imperial Theatre in the presence of DANNY GLOVER star of the movie CHASING SHAKESPEARE and the recipient of the 2013 Humanitarian Award. I will keep you posted as the festival progresses but know that there are many available options for tickets or passports that will allow you to take advantage of many special events.

La soirée d'ouverture officielle aura lieu le 18 Septembre 2013 au Théatre Impérial en présence de DANNY GLOVER vedette du film CHASING SHAKESPEARE et le récipiendaire du Grand Prix Humanitaire 2013. Je vous tiendrai au courrant pendant que le festival avancera mais sachez qu'il y a plusieurs forfaits disponibles pour l'achat de billets ou passeports qui vous donneront accès à plusieurs événements spéciaux.
