Le Groupe Desgagnés et ses filiales a invité dignitaires et journalistes a visité leur dernière création: un asphaltier-bitumier-chimiquier à bicarburation, donc VERT! Ceci est une percée importante pour l'avenir de la planète et de l'humanité. On ne pourrait pas vivre aussi bien sans le transport maritime de denrées nécessaires à la survie et au bon fonctionnement d'une société. Paradoxalement, nous sommes à un temps où il faut sérieusement prendre en considération l'impact de chacun de nos investissements sur l'écologie planétaire. Voici un premier pas dans la bonne direction.
Ce projet a été réalisé avec le soutient de SUNCOR et en collaboration avec Gaz Métro et le port de Montréal qui ont installé des équipements nécessaires pour approvisionner le navire en gaz naturel liquéfié (GNL), un carburant qui possède des avantages environnementaux indéniables dont la réduction substantielle des émissions de gaz à effet de serre.

• The Groupe Desgagnés et ses filiales invited dignitaries and journalists to visit their latest creation: a dual-duel asphalt-bitumen-chemical tanker, therefore GREEN! This is an important breakthrough for the future of our planet and humanity. We could not live as well as we do without the maritime transport of essential supplies for the survival and good functioning of our societies. Paradoxically, we are at a time when we must seriously assess the impact of each of our investments on the planetary ecology. Here is a first step in the right direction.
This project was made possible with the support of SUNCOR and in collaboration with Gaz Métro and the Port of Montreal who have installed the necessary equipments to supply the vessel with liquefied natural gas (LNG), which has undeniable environmental advantages by substantially reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
