There is a lot happening in March! To launch the month La Nuit Blanche, an annual event that allows you to visit endless cultural activities throughout the wee hours of the night on March 2nd. Many events listed here will be ongoing.
• The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts offers a great opportunity to visit the latest exhibition featuring the stunning works of renowned fashion icon Thierry Mugler "THIERRY MUGLER: CREATURES OF HAUTE COUTURE" at half-price this March 2nd. I am preparing a more in depth article but let me just say FA-BU-LOUS!!! But there are more activities at the Museum for La Nuit Blanche check this link.
I also visited the exhibition A Model in the Studio
Montreal 1880-1950 curated by Jacques Des Rochers, curator of Quebec and Canadian Art (before 1945). EXQUISITE! Below I share my favorite drawing by Ernst Neumann. It is just perfect! Several characters unite around the central form, the shading and highlights are at perfect pitch and the details just captivate me. It is a very small drawing and that is surprisingly difficult to do.
