I went to the premiere of Dracula at the Segal Centre this week. We arrived to a beautifully decorated room with round tables decked with bottles of blood and black roses centerpiece. Theatre-goers were wearing elegant outfits befitting the season that added a lot of glamour to our evening.
The performances were superb! The entire cast was fantastic but I must give a special nod to Ellen David who played four characters, shifting from one to the other fluidly! This is one play you do not want to miss! You can go on a date or you can go as a family.
Speaking of theatre, it is also time for the METAs that will happen at the Gesù on November 6 2022 at 7:30 pm. This is a wonderful occasion to be one with Montreal's exciting theatre community. On this link you will discover the nominees, here, how to get your tickets. I have participated to a few METAs and it was quite fun, with cocktails and finger food.
FOOD!!!!!
On another note, Espace pour la vie is collaborating with Le Central to offer the public an opportunity to sample gourmet recipes made from edible insects from November 2nd to November 5. These foods may not be suitable for everyone, for example people with shellfish allergies could be allergic to insect based recipes.
