More news from the festival, FREE SCREENINGS:

« In celebration of the Fantasia International Film Festival’s 25th edition this past summer, the renowned Montreal event is proud to announce Fantasia en fête, a special screening series revisiting the most vital highlights from across the festival’s history. Representing the wide spectrum of genres that Fantasia showcases, this retrospective series brings back the unforgettable experiences and award-winning, even paradigm-shifting cinematic moments that the festival is revered for. The series will hit the silver screen in two waves, the first to happen later this month, the second in December. All screenings will take place at the historic Cinéma Impérial, where the festival was born in 1996. Best of all, as a gift to Montrealers, admission will be free of charge for all screenings. Presented with the support of the City of Montreal.

The October wave of the series concludes with a special advance screening of LAST NIGHT IN SOHO, the latest creation from three-time Fantasia alumni Edgar Wright (SHAUN OF THE DEAD, SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD, THE WORLD’S END), starring Thomasin McKenzie, Anya Taylor-Joy, Matt Smith, Diana Rigg and Terence Stamp.
