GEORGE LUCAS, this is the FORCE / ceci est la FORCE

The Nagual © Lena Ghio,  2016

FRANÇAIS app de traduction à gauche

«...the hallucinogenic spirituality of Carlos Castaneda (the release of “Star Wars” coincided with a peak in pot-smoking among high schoolers, Taylor writes, which “certainly didn’t hurt those first-week grosses”),...The Carlos Castaneda books were a huge influence: all that stuff about going back to basics, finding the magic in everything, becoming your better self, tapping into the power of crystals. »
from: The Crazy History of “Star Wars” By
http://www.newyorker.com/books/page-turner/crazy-history-star-wars

A few years ago I had to look at the original release of Star Wars, May 25, 1977. I had been looking at documentaries on special effects and the techniques they used to create the world of Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader are described. I was shocked to discover how little the first movie actually spoke of or described The Force. As you know, The Force is a major character in the movie. The reason this frugality worked was because the late 70s and early 80s were the apogee of the famous writer  Carlos Castaneda, who had revived a passion for secret knowledge not seen in centuries. George Lucas, like many other geniuses of his time, was inspired by the words and concepts proposed in the books: the Warrior's Way, Personal Power, and so on. People understood at a subliminal level what The Force was because they could reference it with what they had just read in Castaneda's books on the subject.

Today I demonstrate The Force with the above sequence of Emerge Art. The three originals were taken within one minute. To illustrate the action of The Force, I filter the images with Forensic Photoshop. This means anyone who challenges the results may obtain an original copy to verify its authenticity. In this study done September 18 2015, I asked water to tell me about the Nagual Don Juan Matus and Carlos Castaneda. There will be in depth discussion about the extraordinary results I got in the upcoming book The Language of Water. Here the focus is how The Force can be seen at work.

Inside the water we can actually see the image of the elegant man; a description once given of Don Juan by Castaneda, ( Tales of Power ); building up and then melting away. The Nagual Don Juan Matus was described as a being who could assume many forms. When you look inside the bowl, you witness many faces that seem to still be moving. I isolated one character so you could see the energy moving through the water with coherent intention, the mysterious force of INTENT! I believe science will one day be able to link the phenomena I call The Language of Water with the statement below.

« Radio waves, gamma-rays, visible light, and all the other parts of the electromagnetic spectrum are electromagnetic radiation. Electromagnetic radiation can be described in terms of a stream of mass-less particles, called photons, each traveling in a wave-like pattern at the speed of light.»

The Theory of Everything and God

Jeremiah describes God as " the fountain of living waters" (Jeremiah 2:13, 17:13). Photo © Lena Ghio, 2010
In this abstract to an upcoming study, I examine the earliest writings about the beginning of life on earth, the myths that have shaped many civilizations. I compare these with the phenomena I have documented that substantiate the possibility that those myths were based in part by observable phenomena. After this research, I want to verify possible links to what we know about science at this time.

« We can ask about the nature of God even if there is only one possible unified theory that is just a set of rules and equations. What is it that breathes fire into the equations and makes a universe for them to describe? The usual approach of science of constructing a mathematical model cannot answer the question of why there should be a universe for the model to describe. Why does the uni-verse go to all the bother of existing? Is the unified theory so compelling that it brings about its own existence? Or does it need a creator, and, if so, does He have any effect on the universe other than being responsible for its existence? And who created Him? »
The Theory of Everything: The Origin and Fate of the Universe
By Hawking, Stephen

Our ancestors had to deal with their perceptions with the understandings that were available to them at the time. However in the book A History of God written by Karen Armstrong I find quotes on certain stories of evolution of life in the universe that make me think that some people saw some of what I saw while others didn't. Could this be one of the reasons our relationship to Spirit became a multitude of belief systems and not a wide range universal knowing?

Basically, what I have documented in the examples shown here, would have fallen under the designation of paganism according to the catholic church. However what I documented are actions of nature that I calculated would occur at certain time + space, it is a study of the equation I propose as the Theory of Everything :  E = MC squared / RF + G = T + S.

The experiments I did calculated a moment of time ( T ), the time of celestial mechanics, and a point of space ( S ), where I was standing, to verify if gravitational modulations affected matter in a way that could be documented. It did. This also affects life forms and life circumstances.

EMERGE ART For / pour ALEPPO

Emerge Art for /pour Aleppo © Lena Ghio, 2016
FRANÇAIS

What is this mystery that came upon me? Water speaks to me in these startling images I call Emerge Art. In June 2014 water expressed itself this way, forging a beautiful crying woman that reminds me of the Virgin Mary. Today, I composed this gif in grief over the relentless and evil slaughter going on in Aleppo. I am appalled by ALL the world leaders who allow these murders to occur!
Know this: As the Spirit sees the victims, It sees each and every one of you also!

Wim Delvoye @ DHC-Art > 19.03.2017

Cheryl Sim & Wim Delvoye Photo © Lena Ghio, 2016
FRANÇAIS

The latest exhibition @ DHC/ART, WIM DELVOYE, is one about luxurious details twisting around archetypes of ancient cultures and modern practices. For example, the Belgian born artist uses the motif of the crucifixion of Jesus repeatedly in elaborate contorted sculptures of every size. I had to ask him about his intention for using this particular human being, Jesus,  who died a horrific death and about whom we cannot seem to stop arguing; was it art history where he is the most represented person in the world,  or is it a tactic similar to Andy Warhol's use of the Campbell soup can? He laughed at my question but then recounted that he was making a point about social status and how in Europe, in particular where he grew up in Wervik, every family owned a beautiful crucifix. It was at once a common object and a personal luxury in these households.

The themes of the ordinary and the sublime are seen throughout the show in dazzling sculptures like La Pêche Clockwise below. The room is filled with scintillating lights and reflections that make it difficult to seize the details of what you are looking at.

La Pêche Clockwise ( scale model 2:3), 2011
One of the most meaningful pieces is the sculpture Untitled (Maserati). A very recognizable symbol of wealth in the modern world, the luxury car is now a luminous shell with exquisitely carved symbols that represent the Prophet Mohammed's journey to heaven, it is Buraq the heavenly steed that carried the Holy Man to the Masjid Al Aqsa. It is subtle, pure, genius. The entire tale is scripted on the object that, said Wim Delvoye, can also evoke a magic flying carpet.

The exhibition shows the many disciplines the artist explored, from cultivating then tattooing pigs in China, to drawing, to water colors, to etching on luggage. It was a delightful visit as Wim Delvoye is an excellent conversationalist and he told much about his many journeys around the world, his work process, and his current interests. Cheril Sim, the curator of the exhibition, will be giving English guided tours on two separate dates: Saturday January 28 2017 at 2:00 PM / Saturday March 11 2017 at 4:00 PM. For these two visits YOU MUST RESERVE at info@dhc-art.org or 514-849-3742. There are also the noon guided tours starting at 12:15 PM on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Follow this link to find out more on other educational offerings.

untitled ( Maserati ), 2012

EMERGE ART • Discover the possibilities!

Nostradamus watching me © Lena Ghio, 2015
Here is an example of how I investigate inside the bowl of water to realize an Emerge Art. I filter the original image that is often dark because if you put direct light on water you will only see its reflection inside the water and not the mysterious images it builds up and that pass very quickly.

Once I establish there is an interesting content, I enhance it through filters and very light paintbrush strokes- between 4 to 10% soft light. This allows the original image to remain visible as the content is highlighted and contrasted.

This particular image is special to me because it took me two years to see the image that is so meaningful to me. I recognize the blond girl serving food and drink in the center. That was me when I went to university and worked two jobs to pay for my education. The tiny character on my hip reminds me of how much I loved my "little" sister. You could say we were « attached at the hips.»

If you help me with this Crowd Funding project, I will be able to publish the book I have been working on since 2014: The Language of Water.

Thank You

Emerge Art is an act of profound participation between a human being and nature. As a human being, I bring together the elements that will create a conversation between water and me. On rare occasions, water reacts to the installation and creates a visual response that I can observe with our new technologies. Emerge Art is also about the process of enhancing an image that could not appear without the intelligence of water. On this link, https://vimeo.com/168068522 , you will see the image that is behind the incredibly beautiful manifestation I used for the GIF above. You will also see the image preceding and the image following the one above.

Nature and humanity are a side effect of the abundance of water on our planet associated with it's precise lunar and solar cycles that blend and knead the fabric of life on Earth by filtering gravitational modulations from the solar system and the universe at large.

Water is speaking to us at this time when the stakes for the healthy continuity of both nature and humanity are very grave. It is time to make new decisions and to stop feeding the enormous and ridiculous machines that are built on ego and greed. See how this applies to you because that is where each of us must begin, in our own lives.

This time of year has always been about letting go of our daily struggles, to rejoice in our accomplishments and share them with our loved ones around tables filled with good food. Nature's bounty. No matter what is going on, take a few seconds to contemplate the beautiful portrait water created. It is saying: I hear you, I see you. Be at peace.

The return of a classic! 30 NOV > 4 DEC 2016

Fourmis/Ants • Papillons/ Butterflies • Creatura • Scarabées Volants/ Flying Scarabs
ENGLISH •

FABULEUX!!!!

Alors qu'on attend le début du spectacle / As we are waiting for the beginning of the show Photos © Lena Ghio, 2016

I went to the Premiere of OVO, a Cirque du Soleil classic written, choreographed and directed by Deborah Colker, a Brazilian artist, that had its world premiere in 2009. We enter into the dynamic and colorful life of insects. The moment we walk inside the Bell Center arena, we hear the sounds of crickets filling the ambient space. A gigantic egg is lying in a field as insects fly around. Then all goes dark as the egg explodes into a multitude of life forms. As always we recognize the excellence, the charm and the humor of the Cirque du Soleil creation. If you have seen it in 2009, you will recognize certain changes. The children, and even some adult, had to hide their eyes during the Flying Scarabs act as the acrobats threw themselves fearlessly at one another in mid-air. The beauty and romance of the Butterflies act got sighs from the audience and I got to see for the first time in my life a Trampo-Wall act where the artists appear to defy gravity in very high jumps. On this link you will see artists practicing for a Trampo-Wall act from Allégria.

FABULOUS!!!!

SPECIAL REPORT: My day @ MIGS16

Opening Keynote : Gaming's Gold Rush with Adam Boyes Photos © Lena Ghio, 2016
On Monday, November 14, I spent the entire day exploring the dynamic world of gaming at Palais des Congrès for MIGS16  I started by going quickly through all the kiosks that had all the products and services associated with the industry of gaming. It was filled with people and dazzling with color.

I attended the Opening Keynote : Gaming's Gold Rush with Adam Boyes. This was one of my favorite moments of the day. Adam Boyes projected energy and humor as he compared what is happening in the gaming industry to the gold rush years between 1848 and 1855 where men sought wealth from mining land where gold had been found. The parallel is of course that not everybody became rich and many people who did, did not get rich from mining gold. In the gaming industry, not every game will produce wealth to its creator and many side businesses may become more profitable than the game, like marketing, selling the various products like models and cards, and so on.

What I loved most about the Adam Boyes presentation is that it reversed all our current mindset about how to achieve success: have a plan, be confident, be decisive. Instead, he said: NONE OF US REALLY KNOW WHAT WE ARE DOING. I loved all of his quotes as they energized me to confront issues in my own life. We spend so much time trying to figure out the right thing to do that we don't do anything. Adam Boyes says: EVERYTHING YOU DO MAKES YOU BETTER. I got it!

Left: Frédéric Martin, CEO, with Marie-Hélène Boivin, Director of operations. Right: the BOKM headquarters.
Then I was off to the launch of the new game Little Lords of Twillight from BKOM Studios. This is a beautiful story. Frédéric Martin is the CEO of the company and as his children were growing up he would tell them stories and they would play games together. As they grew older, they brought the characters to life with drawings and naming the characters. Now the children are older but Frédéric Martin was inspired to revisit the world he and his children had enjoyed. The result is a game that is a combination of turned-based strategy mechanics, card collectibles of the tactical genre. The game is about fun and easy to learn tactics. It is completely free to play and puts two players in competition. As you play, you develop your skills.

Little Lords of Twilight Streaming live
There was so much to experience. I enjoyed several games in Virtual Reality like a ride in the Virtual Reality game FATED by Frima Studio. I played the game with Oculus Gear that is light and comfortable. It is a beautiful immersive experience with magical characters. There was so much to see!

People are offering all types of business opportunities for those who have great ideas. The Canada Media Fund was on site because it has a program to assist game developers, FACTOR Canada who supports the music industry was also present to offer funding. If you are looking for a career, this is one industry that is seeking people: HIBERNUM is one such company situated in Downtown Montreal: SQUEEZE STUDIOS is recruiting in Quebec City: if you are looking to market an existing project check out TAKEOFF creative who offer many services to promote your project: and there is so much more!

I also enjoyed two master classes, one with Mateusz Lenart about the artistic direction for Layers of Fear game. He took us step by step through the creation process of a coherent product. The other was How to make a game in a day by Fernando Serboncini who is currently working in Montreal developing games for Google no less! By 4:00 pm day was filled. There was one last thing on my agenda, the Opening VIP cocktail on top of Place Ville Marie, Au Sommet!

Quite a wonderful day! Hope you will join the gang next year!

The Michal & Renata Hornstein Pavilion for Peace  has been celebrating its historic opening for a few weeks now greeting the VIP members of the Museum and other dignitaries. What a wonderful thing it is in this troubled world to have created an oasis of peace.

Starting this Saturday, November 19 the public is invited to visit the pavilion for free until January 15 2017. It is a dream opportunity to experience the momentous achievement of the benefactors Michal and Renata Hornstein as well as Michel de la Chenelière who proposes educational programs for people of every age and every culture. There is nothing more wonderful than art to rejuvenate the body and the soul.

Michal & Renata Hornstein have sadly passed away a few months before the official opening of their greatest contribution yet to the Montreal Museum of Fine arts. Their children Sari and Norbert Hornstein were present as well as many other family members for the opening ceremonies.

We started the tour by going up to the fourth floor with the elevator to then descend to lower floors by using the marvelous staircase, The path to peace, that is inhabited by the works of Patrick Beaulieu, Patick Coutu, Roberto Pellegrinuzzi, Yannick Pouliot and Martha Townsend.

The woodwork gives warmth to the otherwise sober structure that is half concrete. The artwork on the fourth floor comes from the Middle Ages. The pieces were restored and they are luminous with splendor. We can see the exceptional talent of that era that appears, to us, so long ago. We see the force of the human spirit and the power of its achievements.

We go down one floor and we find ourselves surrounded by Dutch masters like  Rembrandt and Bruegel. Another floor down and we are in 17 and 18 century France and Italy. The journey ends in modern times with artists from the romanticism to the contemporary era.

Emerge Art and the 2016 US elections - reading the language of water

Tiny version of the three sequential images used in GIF. The smaller size shows us the overall look of the images water forms.

Emerge Art is my art practice that has evolved from the ancient art of scrying. In this link, that Wikipedia refused to update with my research because no one else has accomplished a research like mine, you will get a range of views about scrying as it stands now. Originally believed to be a mystic endeavor whose revelations were dependent upon the "subjective" perception of the seer, it can now be classified as a real dialogue with water that can be documented and studied objectively by many.
In the preceding article Emerge Art and the 2016 US elections, I presented in GIF format the process I use to screen the images that form in the water. Here I will analyze HOW water spoke of the US 2016 elections in the three chosen images.

If I was a "seer" I would describe the emerging form of a masculine face as such: The man has light colored hair that sweeps over his head, sometimes over his eyes.

The eyes have two distinct characteristics, one eye appears normal, the other eye is imbued with a reddish glow. It "sees red"[ Seeing red refers to when someone becomes so angered that it controls them, enraging the person ]. There is a two-faced quality expressed by the two different characteristics of the eyes.

Since I was thinking about the US elections on October 30th 2016, I can deduce that the overall look of the male face is a representation of the then candidate Donald Trump.

My objective here is not to discuss politics but to demonstrate that water possesses sentience and responds in a relevant manner in certain circumstances. If this was once an occult subject, it can now enter the arena of scientific inquiry and research with as much relevance to the increase of human knowledge as physics, astrophysics, quantum physics and so on. The most pertinent science to use this facet of water will be astrobiology and the most pertinent technology will be in very sophisticated Artificial Intelligence software.

In this study, I compare what the water has expressed in the first image of the above sequence with a photo of Donald Trump in a position similar to that in the three Emerge Art. In many photographs the wings of M. Trump's nose are strongly shadowed and his lips have a puckering appearance that water expressed well.
