MUTEK launched its programming for this years Montreal edition of the international festival of electronic arts. All the journalists were shivering with excitement as the previews unrolled. The cachet with this type of art is that it immerses you with mind altering effects on the mind and senses. The beats carry you to a primal state while the lights challenge what you see!

MUTEK a lancé la programmation de cette année pour l'édition Montréalaise de ce festival international des arts électroniques. Tous les journalistes frissonnaient avec enthousiasme alors que les bandes-annonces déroulaient. Le cachet avec ce type d'art est qu'il est immersif avec des effets altérants sur la perception et les sens. Le rythme vous transporte à un état primitif tandis que les jeux de lumière défient ce que vous voyez!

This year the most anticipated events explore the theme of time and space. At the Satosphere the event DROMOS, at Centre Phi MINIMAL=MINIMAL in collaboration with CTM Festival of Germany. HERMAN KOLGEN presents Train Fragments, GHISLAIN POIRIER presents Boundary, and MATTHEW HERBERT from the UK returns to Montreal after 6 years to present One Pig, a very intriguing look at the life and death of one pig.

Cette année les événements les plus anticipés explorent le thème du temps et de l'espace. À la Satosphère l'événement DROMOS, au Centre Phi MINIMAL=MINIMAL en collaboration avec le festival CTM d'Allemagne. HERMAN KOLGEN présente Train Fragments, GHISLAIN POIRIER présente Boundary, et MATTHEW HERBERT d'Angleterre revient à Montréal après six ans d'absence pour présenter One Pig, un regard intriguant sur la vie et la mort d'un cochon.
