I have been following the immersive film making of Felix & Paul Studios for a decade now. The experiences were dazzling then: I met Bill Clinton, visited the White House with the Obamas, was in the heart of Cirque du Soleil "O", visited Africa and have been to the ISS several times. This is the second instalment of Space Explorers: THE INFINITE and it is spectacular.

In the second instalment, we listen to the astronauts tell us about their work, their experiments and their hypothesis inside the spaces where they work inside the Space Station. We experience floating at zero gravity as we listen. For example, I am very interested in the role of gravity and celestial mechanics as to how they affect the shape of living things and their destiny. I landed inside a clip where astronaut Victor J. Glover jr explains his hypothesis that as humans advance in space travel, they will adapt and evolve with the needed mutations making their appearances as the humans meet the demands of evolving circumstances.

Continuing with M. Glover's hypothesis, I had the chance to ask David Saint Jacques about the physical challenges he faced upon his return to Earth. He told us he suffered tremendously upon his reentry. Back pain, headaches and low bone density took months to repair. His testimony was quite moving. He told us about trying to raise one arm and being unable to, asking himself why his arm was so heavy. He came face to face with the force of gravity and its impact on living matter on Earth and in space. HERE you will read research on the impact of space travel on DNA.

You must appreciate the extraordinary achievement that this exhibition is: humans in a space station filming their daily life there and the universe in collaboration with Felix & Paul Studios  so that we can stand there beside our beloved Earth through her various phases. It made me feel awesome like a superhero.

On a practical level, there have been several improvements in the way we walk through the virtual reality and outer space. A path of stars appears beneath our feet to support and guide us in the darkness.

It is a must see brought to us in collaboration with NASACentre Phi and Phoebe Greenberg who bring us the best in contemporary culture. Follow the links in this article for more information.
